Sidewalks are missing there but there are plenty in town. I used to live in two of the streetcar suburbs: Newton Ma, and Brookline Ma. They are indeed more urban than suburban in many spots, but again, proximity matters. Those places feel m

Right. I find this whole topic reductive in general. Specifics matter quite a bit. I don't disagree with some of the article but it feels very gloomy compared to suburban life I see around me.

I think you're right about people in proximity along the walk. Always liked that about Manhattan. But even in Manhattan, I didn't regularly stop to chat with strangers. Maybe I stopped to grab coffee along the way. To your point,

Something I don't see mentioned often in this discussion: what's a "long distance" Is there a formal measure or comprehensive view on that question? I lived in Manhattan (NYC). Walked a mile at a time (or more) without t

Not a doctor but I might go further and say possibly avoid altogether until you come off SSRI. I have a recent experience with MDMA, a substance that also interacts with those receptors. A friend and I both tried MDMA, not first realizing t

I agree. A lot of discovery there is just people writing notes and posts “how to discover and boost discoverability” - just an endless loop of growing and talking about growing without substantial non-growth content.

Honest question: does the blog have to be for other people or can I just be for you? And if people find it - great. If you are instead trying to acquire eyeballs for some reason, that’s great as well. But I don’t think you should look at it

Have any sources? I’d love to read what you are thinking about. I haven’t used psilocybin in a clinical setting but have gone through an alternative psychedelic-assisted therapy process. Very interesting results and many positives.

I haven’t trained for an Ironman but have for a marathon. I do think some metric oriented work is helpful! But I laughed at your post. Happy to see both sides.

If it’s Claude - I’d love to see the prompts. This doesn’t read like AI to me. Lots of active voice. Shorter sentences. Not saying those are signals of human writing but in my experience AI writing is verbose.

Price point is a major factor. I am looking at other EVs but can’t get over how expensive some are (e.g. Taycan). Now I know there is an argument that a Porsche drives nothing like a Tesla, and sure, I believe it. (I own a Boxster). But the

I often think that executive level work is about changing the executive team and writing memos about changing the executive team. Then there’s a different team with different members and they begin the cycle again. Repeat over and over agai

I love this. My older daughter draws so many funny looking characters and stick figures. I’ll show her and I’m sure she will light up seeing her drawings come to life.

How do you like Model Y so far? I am eyeing that and a Rivian. The newest Y design is great (outside) and the price is where I want it. But I can’t help thinking that it will break the second I complete my signature for purchase/lease.

To each their own - I think you're missing out. I do both. But why I like a spotter: someone to coax another rep (or two) out of you. I'll coach them on that point in advance, too.

Easy one: you are about to lift something and need a spot. "Hi, can I ask you for a spot?" - hard to argue w/premise of ask and many people would be happy to assist you and see you achieve whatever goal you have for that lift

Not just boards. I’ll argue any deliverable. Part of what makes corp life so inefficient is that lack of unified approach. Working with a company where many of C-suite folks operate in normal corp world: Office 365. Slides, spreadsheets, th
