This is fair. But I'm not prescribing specific numbers, just using them as examples. The point is to pick something achievable. So, you can do this: 3 reps of each exercises (push-up, pull-up, sit-up). Perform this circuit 4 times for

>it can be really easy to lose touch I use a simple question to determine whether I've "lost touch" with someone or not: do I have a regular or semi-regular urge to talk to that person? I find the answer is often no. Lots

This is great advice. I’m an avid runner but joined a running club in town when I moved to suburbs from NYC. Just two weeks of track workouts made a huge difference and kept me on schedule and sense of accountability.

Fair, but it’s best to view cycling as one component of a larger program that involves stretching and mobility to both improve your whole body and counteract the issues you mentioned.

I see this particular problem everywhere: “I spend all day at my desk.” Well, don’t. Block off an hour and a half in your day. Every day during the work week. Start by going for a 45 min brisk walk outside if possible or on a treadmill if t

This looks awesome. Excited to try it. Day-to-day I deal mostly with MSSQL - eagerly awaiting that connector!

Interesting comment. I'll say it another way: in America, people either agree or disagree with you. That's not my personal viewpoint but one that doesn't seem inconceivable to an outsider.

Great site. It's a newer/cleaner/simpler version of my go-to site for anything detailed related to exercise: ex-rx.net. One suggestion: add more of the detail that site has on the other muscles used during a particular exerci

I used Knime in my last company. Very interesting software. But I think the initial introduction can be tough to carry forward. You need a champion or two in your org to help everyone else. Excel is a tool enough people know to both work in

I don't blame these folks for their analytics needs, but seeing an ad in Instagram just after visiting the site soured me a bit.

+1 to this. I saw a fellow parent dump their kid on an iPad whenever he fussed, regularly, for months. Seemed like he learned that he could whine to get what he wanted (the iPad) rather than learning how to play/interact elsewhere. All

Many. Insurance is hardly one type of job and many lines of insurance (e.g. for larger multi-national corps, for certain types of property, and etc.) aren't automated anywhere near the level of what you see in Lemonade's marketing

Professionally this was described to me as: 1. you write like a salesperson 2. you write like a scientist It's hard to please everyone. The vast majority of writing tilts in one direction or another. Very few writers (in any setting) s

How do you measure return? Not doubting your approach - just curious how you measure the return of various unrelated tasks (e.g. cooking vs. spending that time working)

Glad you found them helpful. Overall, there can be nuance in all of these things, but you don't need to stress yourself with that nuance in so many cases.

Totally agree. It's so easy to overthink cooking. Take off the exec-chef-in-restaurant apron and focus on the simple stuff: - Add salt/pepper/spices by hand if you can. Shakers/larger-volume canisters lead to over-applic
