ChatGPT is on a hype wave at the moment. Stories like these are going to become more and more irritating before the hype subsides.

The negative impact is the shock and horror on people’s faces when seeing the subject in person after having interacted with the avatar for some time. Some people may call that positive impact though

I find there are more than two kinds of people. Among them some are skeptical and some are not. The latter are good at exploring, even if blind alleys while the former keep them in check. We’re lucky we have some variety otherwise we’d risk

Who needs people? Elites or not, what use will they bring? To do what? And elites do need plebs without which they’d have no point of reference to set themselves apart

Being introverted/shy doesn’t make travelling alone any easier. I’ve tried it multiple times and didn’t work too great for me. I enjoy being in familiar places by myself but when unfamiliar it’s a different story.

I share the sentiment. Microsoft has done an atrocious job at naming things here and created a lot of confusion.. Im not sure if this was their intended goal or it’s simply incompetence.

I hear what you’re saying but writing can become even less lucrative and still be a very good tool for yourself, your thoughts, your reasoning, your feelings etc. It doesn’t even have to be read by anyone else to help one get their thought

In an ideal world you’d do what you are best at. If that was churning useful code then be it. If that was selling that code without needing to churn code yourself then be it. It’s unfortunate we can’t collaborate with eachother without ste
