That account is actually a few days old. My guess is that GP does the same as me. Create a throwaway account, use for a few weeks, then abandon it to create a new one. This account I'm posting from is close to EOL, for example.

I sometimes wear earbuds or headphones just to avoid people trying to talk to me. I'm not even listening to anything, those things are completely silent. I just don't want contact with people.

Speaking here as an employee that was affected by layoffs in one of those companies that hired like crazy during the pandemic. I see no problems in their behavior. The insane rate of hiring was useful to give a good boost to my salary in a
