Accessibility is a feature, and I don't make feature decisions. There was no accessibility Jira ticket, sorry.

Maybe LLMs can't fix all of the human deficiencies in the past.

Trial and error is not how apprenticeship works, for example. As an apprentice, you get correct and precise enough instructions and you learn from the masters perfection point downwards. Maybe we have reached a point where we can be the mac

This seems like a good way to measure LLM improvement. It matches the my personal feeling when using progressively better models over time.

So, AI is now officially rocket science. Anyways... This is dumb. Radiation shielding, power, cooling, maintenance. All unnecessarily made more complex. What for?

There is nothing stopping multiple microservices from using the same DB, so of course this will happen in practice. Sometimes it might even be for a good reason.

The article mentions microservices, which can increase the likelihood of collisions in sequential incremental keys. One more reason to stay away from microservices, if possible.

I tried jj a few times but it seems to be incompatible with my workflow. I tend to have lots of uncommitted files and changes that i want to keep around in this state while I move around branches and while having multiple change lists (jetb

I don't think anyone would say that the LLMs will produce better code, but they can do it much faster. I personally did not hit the wall where the use of LLMs would slow me down in the long run. It has been smooth sailing most of the t

I've seen so many devs not know that things like multi stage even exists. Multi gigabyte containers everywhere.

That doesn't sound right. Not everywhere in the world do companies count as people, yet they can still be sued. I'd wager the companies lobbied for this to gain extra rights.

I'm a paying customer of bitwarden, and I'm very happy with the service. However, I also self-host vaultwarden for non-personal use. And when I do that, I refuse to create an online account, out of principle.
