FYI, Microsoft did not have a monopoly on personal computers. It had a monopoly on Intel based computers. See the actual judgement for details. Apple has a monopoly on A9, A10, and A11 based computers.

I want it because that's what I grew up with. I loved everything about it. We had a 3 bedroom house with living room and kitchen and 2 car garage. In the garage my dad had a workbench with a bunch of tools and a radial saw. He added on

I wish we as an industry would agree on an icon standard. I noticed SourceTree for MacOS looks for `icon.png/jpg/gif` in the root folder of a project. https://i.imgur.com/9MGwVv4.png I wish github, gitlab, this an

for those in this thread excusing the touch bar how would you feel if apple replaced the entire keyboard with a large touch surface like typing on an iPad. Great idea? Can't wait? Or Ugh?

I'm curious. much of South East Asia has the Batik shirts. The higher end ones are considered formalwear. Is there any connection?

I certainly agree that the money (publishers, funding) is going to likely chase what's making money. Games that are free with in app purchased are making way more money than games that aren't. I don't know if Fornite has any

I love the idea and added a topic here https://www.kialo.com/macos-and-windows-should-sandbox-all-a... Some comments: The site seems designed for desktop first. The fancy radial graph doesn't seem to appear on mobile.

apple still sells a whole line of non Hi-DPI machines it's arguably a little early for them to kill this stuff off. They should drop that line or upgrade it to hd-dpi and then in 2-3 year kill off non HI-DPI support

I use Google Photo's image recognition all the time. I wish it was 1000x better but it's still amazing. I uploaded about 120k photos including all my father's photos I had scanned. (about 4000) I injured my toe when I was 10y
