We've looked into Web Intents but haven't quite taken the complete leap towards implementation. We're definitely huge fans and think that it is an area we should aim for. Native browser support would be ideal but the shim looks really prom

Great question. The window itself can be styled using a custom CSS which you pass into the chooser. We definitely want to extend the functionality further to enable other features like cropping, filters and more.

For pricing, we will ultimately charge for API interactions with Chute. The first 100k per month will be free. We will also provide some free, permanent storage for all developers. We haven't finalized the amounts but right now there's no

We definitely don't employ any tricks here. Facebook will return some data based on a username and we're able to use that public info to resolve the username. Of course, Facebook seems to ease their privacy settings to the more lax version

That's an interesting, though a little beyond the core of what we do. Sounds like a good opportunity to build something though.

The JS file doesn't expose a UI at the moment, it provides a method for directly uploading to us. On the mobile side, we have screenshots at the specific repos. Here's how the mobile implementations look: [ios] https://github.com/chute/av

This is definitely a great look into all the things we are working on and trying to manage. Thanks for sharing your insights, definitely a great help in understanding why user-generated media has been very difficult for brands and agencies

This is a great question Kevin. I think it comes down to a couple of things. 1. File Requirements 2. Workflow If you're looking to simply capture any binary data, Chute is not the ideal option. While we will offer access to even more sourc
