The reason they dominate at PPW, is because they are on TSMCs 5nm process. No one else has made a cpu chip on this process yet. AMD are scheduled for later this year (they are currently using 7nm). It will be interesting to see the differen

Yep. Used heavily for editing works, colour grading works for tv / film, sound works. Pretty much anything professional, they will discard what the GPU is doing (and inbuilt audio) and use these sorts of external devices. This way, you

This is the thing, i hate their new ui... and if ever they get rid of their 'old' ui I would leave reddit. Their "New UI" was brought in in 2018, and to me was like a digg moment. To me, Hackernews is what Reddit was 10

I believe if you are definetly moving the camera in a 'robotic' way and predictable way, using a tool like PTGui and their Align to Grid function, will help for those shots which dont have distinct features.

Cycles X, is essentially a rewrite of Cycles. Cycles-X no longer exists as it has been merged back into cycles. Crazy performance gains!

it probably is a lot of 1). Right now, Cycles does not have any GPU acceleration on Mac. Windows and linux its fine, but mac is very limited. Having a group of people, even if its a small number, be vocal about avoiding their computers and

If you are working in 3D... it is trivial to output 3 different videos compared to one. All it takes is a bit of time to animate each camera and boom, you have 3 different videos all record it from different perspectives.

Though that being said, it would be great to be like hey google, ill do the conversions for you! but then they would have to trust that the bitrate isnt too high / not going to crash their servers etc.etc.etc.
