They've built Starbase there, with all the rocket assembly facilities and the new expansions. Unless they're planning on shipping all the rockets via barge, I think it's safe to assume they'll send them to Florida by lau

I think that unless you're a nation-state with huge budgets, creating a seamless and reliable experience is relatively non-existent. We've tried all the major vendors for conference rooms, and they all have sharp edges that give y

We had a Cisco conference setup for two joined conference rooms back in 2014? It was like $500K per site. It was terrible, picture quality was 1080i with bad sound, but something an exec would love cosplaying as a member of the NSC. The thi

The morale effect might be real for you, but for a large group of workers, their morale has improved since WFH. On my team of 24, only one chooses to work in the office...

I agree with unionization, but I was discussing the current status quo for the majority of workers in the US. Hopefully unions will both grow in number and be strengthened.

I understand the stress, having been through it myself. I think that employees should have greater rights than they currently do, but that will take another generation of voters that didn't grow up with the veneration of business imbue

As someone who: Had colon cancer Has a colostomy Was fired during my treatment I'm very aware of how companies can try to discriminate against employees who are disabled. If Amazon tries to fire this guy for not meeting his "quota

You should look at inflation rates in the 70s and 80s. This didn't destroy the US, though it was painful.

Super Hornets (F/A-18E/F) have under 60% according to the CBO. F/A-18C/D are even lower than that. F-15C/D are around 50%. F-16s look to be around 60%. A great snippet from the CBO report is: "Availability rate

I think that LG, Sony and Samsung are doing fine making TVs, perhaps for the lower end, the influx of cheaper sets is pressuring profit margins for this segment. And gross margin is very relevant. Vizio is spending a lot of money either on

I can think of plenty of new entrants in the last two decades: HiSense TCL Vizio BenQ Vizio has a 17% gross margin. Just because they mismanage their money doesn't mean I have to put up with their sob stories about not making $$.

I think if you had worked/managed a SAN, you might realize that a single disk failure is a non-event. I'm not talking about a JBOD or an storage shelf using RAID5, I'm talking about a Netapp or similar system that can easily

That's a straw man. If franchisees were willing to have maintenance people on staff, then there wouldn't be a need for complex, self-managing systems. But they either can't afford to, or are unwilling to pay the added cost.
