I really enjoyed messing around with Gemini a while ago! But after the "messing around" stage with the protocol itself, the restrictions inherent to gemtext sapped my excitement around it. It's a mark up language squarely foc

That's a really cool idea! I'm not sure of the specifics, but I believe digital printing on fabric isn't outrageously expensive, and being custom made per layout would let you hide a lot of the patch-like structure with the a

What a neat idea! I see this as a sort of... clothing gridfinity. [0] Basically a few interfaces to implement and anything unspec'd is fair game to be creative with for your own use/small scale production, and everything still mos

I gave it a try! I tried to get the odd-ball perfectly circular cut and square dimensions, but I'm mostly just eyeballing it. Haven't tried printing it yet, but I have some nice red filament that I think is going to look good! Her

Comment got deleted, but Gallatin isn't the title page font. That was a digital font released in 2019, which is meant to look like Memphis with a two storey a. https://fontsinuse.com/typefaces/128627/gallatin

Fair point! I think it just feels a little more… mean? Slang is a value judgement on the word, but no one is a “slanger”. So at least that works fine for talking about language without setting some cultural standard that people using slang
