By mentioning that they are "ranking members" you make an argument from authority that is predicated on the legitimacy of the government alone, effectively saying "kneel and take whatever they say at face value". In my v

Exactly. Obama just created a National Anti-Propaganda Center to keep watch over American news organizations. An elaborate surveillance/police state combined with a propaganda system is scary indeed, no matter which president or politi

The basic flaws I'd mention are: - Multiple state actors (or well-funded non-state actors) likely compromised the emails. - A state actor could also have faked the "trail" that points to Russia. - The rest of the evidence is

Social security was supposed to be an investment program so the benefits were earned after years of contributions. The problem is, demographics have changed and so it became a welfare program. To make matters worse, it became unsustainable

Not with app engine's default cert that matches *.google.com Google has the private keys and would likely happily siphon off any data requested by said regimes.

Interesting. Sounds like they prioritized standardizing the connector but not the rest of the details. Perhaps in the scope of large scale manufacturing, having multiple (redundant) connector styles is a low hanging fruit for cost reduction
