I use Wallabag - https://wallabag.org/en . It's a read-it later style bookmark app. It's opensource, so you can self-host it.

Would love to know when it's opensource (so we can get it packaged for Cloudron). Signed up for early access.

guava + black salt is an incredible combo. Sadly, it's very hard to get good guava here in bay area. If anyone knows a good place, I am all ears. I love the the green raw guava more than the white-ish ripe ones.

Wow, didn't realize linode is bootstrapped. How did they manage to build so many cloud centers with no investment? Do you know more of their story?

I love DO, been a customer for over 10 years. Maybe just me, but apart from AWS, it's the only cloud provider that has competent support team. Azure, Google Cloud are mostly unreachable. But raise a DO support request and you get a res

Just guessing: maybe this is to avoid breakage if the clients have pinned the old certificate.

cpanel can only handle PHP apps. I think Cloudron is an alternative for modern web apps which are written in various languages as it uses Docker internally.

I am subscribed to 100s of feeds via RSS. It is well and truly alive and most sites support RSS feeds. FWIW, I self host TinyTinyRSS which works great and has an excellent mobile app as well.

I use SuperShuttle pretty much all the time. I understand why the service is widely disliked. Most people expect a predictable shared ride with least surprises. The pick up is predictable but not the ride itself. Sometimes it's like 3-

By third party, do you mean this github repo? This app is also just using the maxmind data, afaict and providing the info in that db over the web.

We made a similar app called geoip - https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/geoip . It also uses maxmind's db. Supports json and jsonp as well. You can try it at https://geolocation.cloudron.io/json . P

Can you clarify what is scary about it :) ? Or are you saying using the command line by itself is scary? If that's the case, we do have Cloudron listed in the DO Marketplace (and in other providers like netcup, time4vps etc).

I agree that the maintenance effort differs wildly per app. I don't actually agree that nextcloud is 0 effort post-setup. If you see our forums or the nextcloud forums, you will see how many questions are really just installation and u
