That's just incorrect. Every letter you're looking at now is vector and no different in terms of performance of rendering to SVG.

It's so funny this article features a timeline graphic that's a PNG with a lot of text on it. On Firefox + M1 Macbook, the first image is not up to scale for high resolution screens and each pixel is blurry, rendering the font har

Regarding quality, on my computer vision benchmarks (specific querying about describing items) it's about 2% of current preview of GPT-4V. Speed is impressive, though.

Serious question: what is the issue with these paritcular sizes? I know that features/look these websites have are definitely achievable with less JS at a higher engineering cost, but what's the problem with it? 10MB loads in two

I'd assume Azure's TOS does not allow foreign secret services to use it for its operations. I remember TOS of iTunes mentioned you can't use it to build nuclear bombs. In that sense, there's no way that what Microsoft di

The point is that the article states "averaged across 4 diverse customer tasks, fine-tunes based on our new model are slightly stronger than GPT-4, as measured by GPT-4 itself" and then proves it with nothing tangible, just the 4

I want an interactive prompt box with some example prompts and answers from the model and a comparison with GPT-4. My random guess is that this finetuned Mistral-7B is better at nothing or almost nothing than GPT-4 and that's why inste

SSR is almost always slower than SPAs. It's forcing a waterfall on first page dispaly (you can't stream HTML of something that hasn't been fetched from the database yet), and generally SPAs fail mainly at SEO. If you're

You falsly assume that the intent of people building that device was to make it efficient - it wasn't. They wanted to make sure the fuel, heated up to the right temperature, will yield energy gain and that happened. You can think of a

On what premise? It just says we can't make it economical anytime soon, but you have to start somewhere - or should we all agree that unlimited clean energy is not worth trying because it's a long shot?

Everyone mildly interested in the topic knows about what's written in the article. There are popular scientists making youtube videos about what is Q, etc. It's the gain factor of the fuel itself, not the entire system that achiev

There should be no CI/CD code - build the product instead. Fundamentally, outsource devops to some service. Use Firebase, Vercel, etc. Building proper multi-environment CI/CD is where you're doing devops with the belief you&#

I agree with you, but that's one of the things that will have to be rewritten if you're in a regulated business - unless you go for some hybrid "JWT but stored in the database" which is, basically, not a JWT.
