Also, money. It is not exactly cheap to just move to another country -- or another state in a lot of cases.

Im not disputing the fact that nomikai exists. Ive been to my share. I was simply agreeing with the OP that it is more likely that most Japanese people arent working insane amounts of overtime and black companies arent in the majority. I pr

Not sure why youre being a contrarian. It seems like you didnt bother to understand my post. But yah, start work at 8-9, knock off at 6 to start drinking heavily at the local izakaya, hammered by 8 or 9 and stumbling towards the snack until

The same could be said about going home at 6pm (except for the sleeping). Take the Oedo line out of Shinjuku or Roppongi between 6 and 8pm and tell me everyone is still at work.

That is my experience too. In my neighborhood, by 8pm, the streets are crawling with drunk salarymen (and women) stumbling out of izakayas on their way to a snack and/or karaoke -- 5 days per week. They clearly werent working overtime

So, hosting in Japan is more expensive than regions in America? JPY is in a horrible place compared to USD. That seems like a good way to push away Japanese users away -- make it more expensive in countries where the local currency is weak.

6447137 I was really surprised when a recovery mechanism was launched many years ago. My account wasnt comprised. It still had the same dumb password from way back -- my first highschool girlfriends name and a number.

Obviously, I didnt mean that as some sort of solution. But more as sarcasm that they trying to stop healthy, consenting adults from having sex in the prime of their life when the news and older generations are up in arms about young people

Its sad that these are even a thing. Is the world so repressed that consenting adults can't be known to be having sex? In a more progressive world, we might do the opposite -- "pro-sex" beds for adults that are healthy, in gr

This is the first that I am hearing about the reversal. I am a bit disappointed, but I did see news about the rollout. It was pretty intense and probably not much regulation. So, is this a reactionary response to minority issues or was ther

Twitter required a login long before the rename or Elon owned it. He actually removed that restriction for a while before reenabling it. And with some simple div removal, IG doesnt require a login to view content. This is true about a lot o

Starlink was never meant for the urban masses. Its usecase (from the start) was for people in rural areas where low or no speed options are available. This is perfect for people like my parents living at the top of a mountain in rural SC. T

Off the top of my head, it seems like a great way to give access to content (games, movies, etc) to those that may have been able to afford it on their own. It may not have a ton of educational value, but some mindless entertainment goes a

That's insanity. I would rather bet on Cloudflare to be around longer. They don't add any additional up-charge from the baseline ICANN price. Before, I was buying 10 years of registration for a bit of a discount, but, after 20 yea
