Even without going as far as blocking all 3rd-party js/frames (which I do personally), one can use the dynamic filtering pane to at least block the most ubiquitous domain names and allow only on a per-need basis. I do use facebook.*

I updated the neutered script from googletagservices.com, I found the site was throwing an error because of a missing method in uBO's neutered version of the script. Not sure whether it's a new method or whether I missed it when I

uBlock Origin was first developed as a Chromium extension, so converting to WebExtensions API is a non-issue. There is currently a dev build for the WebExtension version of uBlock Origin in the latest release.[1] FYI, uBlock is abandonware[

I will take the opportunity to share what I have observed a few weeks ago regarding another extension in the Chrome Store: Popup Blocker (800,000+ users)[1] also leaks your browsing history. For every site you visit, there is a POST to

Filters such as `*$websocket`[1] should also work in workers as well, since such filter syntax causes a CSP directive to forbid websocket connections to be injected into a page. [1] Used for Pornhub and many others.

To be sure there is no confusion, it's possible to block inline scripts with Chromium, but not on a per-inline script tag basis. Per-inline script tag filtering is possible for Firefox, but the feature relies on "beforescriptexecu

Must be careful with the results on that page. It shows map-string as being slower for ES6 (using `new Map()`) compared to ES5 (using `{}`), and yet I found the opposite, that ES6's Map() is faster in my benchmark[1]. [1] https:/

More accurately: uBlock Origin does not prevent you from visiting the page, it warns you that the page you where redirected to belongs to a hostname which is blocked by one of the filter lists. From there, you can make an informed decision
