They do exist, I believe. I don't have one but came across many for sale on AliExpress when looking for a writer to clone my RFID apartment door entry thingy. Seems like they even have some that are dual NFC/RFID that would work

From my limited understanding of Vite, it serves es modules directly on the fly during dev but uses Rollup to bundle in production. Did you swap out Rollup for Metro in production, or have you somehow ported all that byte code generation s

As a react native dev I’d love to hear some of the implementation details! First, is this a whole new router? Is it based on expo-router, or is it sitting on top of react-navigation? Maybe all new with react-native-screens as a foundation?

I mean I guess using "WP" in their business name is kinda pushing it I guess, but offering Wordpress hosting while using the word "Wordpress" is fair game (IMO). A company can't/shouldn't be able to tell

The deb file probably contains new versions of electron (or at least versions of electron that change the actual v8/chrome version) and the regular updates during launch are loading JavaScript. Just a guess.

I dream of owning one of those one day! I was a huge BeOS fan as a teenager, and even though the BeBox was from before my time I’d love to own one! They very very rarely seem to come up for sale, though. And the ones that do are pretty c

Most likely it is capacitive and doesn’t actually move and they are using the haptics engine to make it feel like a button. It works surprisingly well on the iPhone SE with Touch ID. You can’t even really tell that it’s not actually movin

They mention "$1 per 1000 minutes of video delivered", does that mean per viewer? $0.06 per hour per viewer seems like a lot, although I have no idea if that's "competitive" or inline with actual bandwidth costs.

I think state of the art in this space is WHIP/WHEP, which is what this project is implementing. I'm guessing 100k+ clients would be pretty difficult for Broadcast Box (out of the box), however Cloudflare has a beta stream servic

Having discovered this 15 minutes ago I can't really speak in absolutes, but firing up OBS and using their test server, I think this would allow you to do exactly what you want. It's trivial to get OBS set up to stream to this, a

Fair, I took your original comment to mean that Google was mapping WiFI AP locations using people's phones (which could still be true). However, after re-reading it I see you meant that Google is pin-pointing your own location based o

Toybox combines many common Linux command line utilities together into a single BSD-licensed executable. It's simple, small, fast, and reasonably standards-compliant (POSIX-2008 and LSB 4.1).

It totally depends on the type of skier and the type of skis you have. I worked in the ski industry and thus lived and worked in ski towns for 15 years. If you are a ski racer, tuning edges matter. If you aggressively ride groomers all d

The only problem of 3000 PSI is 99% of the snowmaking pipelines out there would instantly blow up at that pressure :) You would also need to have PRVs anyways, because anything above about 700psi (900 if you are pushing it) is unusable/

I worked in the snowmaking industry at ski resorts for more than a decade before getting into tech. Many ski resorts have a snowmaking reservoir at elevation and a pumping system to fill it (usually off peak) and then use gravity to actual
