Part of your story reminds me of the customer of the computer company I worked for that would, every week, print out sales and financial reports that ran for hundreds of pages and about as thick as you mention. The girl who ran the reports

This is true and happened to me just last week. I used to belong to Angie's List, which helped a lot, but I so rarely used it that I dropped the service. I wished I kept my Yellow Pages last week when I wanted to look something up.

Because you mentioned age, the one thing I noticed over 30 years of owning a few fast food restaurants, is that kids do a lot of growing up between the ages of 18 and 20. We might hire in someone at 18, for summer help, and just want to sho

You, too, are complaining about what the developer did and how he did it, not the web font. I use web fonts almost everywhere and our pages "blink" on.

People are "concerned" about a lot of crazy things that shouldn't bother them.

Again, your complaint is with developers and designers who did not do their job properly, not with web fonts.

I started getting trapped into what you're complaining about, and now say it's worth it, but what happens when something better comes along or something gets abandoned? What happens if three of those things on your list become a p

By integrate I meant interacting with your program, whatever that may be. With the go server, you get everything this program has without the concern of the code going stale or dying should the author abandon it.

How much work is involved integrating this server into your application versus writing 20 lines of Go code? Or less. Maybe more.

So 20 or so lines of code is too tough? How much work is involved integrating this server into an app?

Go comes with a built in web server that can serve static web pages easily. What's the point of this?

People jumped down my throat, here on HN, whenever I brought up this very fact over the last couple of years so I find it interesting to see it reach the top. I guess we have to rotate targets more slowly over time.
