Yes. I actually mean both. Thread safety does and doesn't matter. MRI has a GIL so appending to an array across threads will "just work." JRuby doesn't and it won't end well if you're not giving it thought. But

Neat. I wouldn't use it, as I have a database :). Some notes: - it's not thread safe - it's not jruby-safe - you should generally avoid Marshal. It can have compatibility issues across Ruby versions, etc. plus yaml or json ca

"Vendor Lock-in" is a meaningless phrase if you start applying it to GitHub. You're talking about competition. GitHub competes and people like it a lot. That's not a lock-in. Your business won't end if you switch to

That time I had to call a lot of SOAP APIs. Not Java SOAP, but .NET SOAP. There's a difference and I regret having had to know what it was.

Regading sleep: IMO it's vital to stop working at least 2-hours before bed. Your brain never stops and you never sleep well. Maintaining work/life boundaries and having a routine will help in keeping you sane.

This isn't a git flow issue, unless I'm missing something. If anything, you can more easily revert a bad set of changes by simply reverting the merge commit. Front-end testing is hard, but you need to figure that out. Ruby Motion

Housing here is just limited supply and high demand. I don't see prices falling, given how strict getting a $1m+ loan is in the first place. Prices won't really go down unless people are forced to sell. That said, I have sympath
