I wonder how long it will take for China to flood the market with state-of-the-art modules. It's a pretty decent opportunity for them. They probably can hasten the build of new fabs more than many other nations. But my guess is that th

Nice piece of research! I’m curious why no one tried out the hypothesis (and then published). I imagine it would not have been hard to infect one chicken, blow air over it toward another separate set of birds and see.

I know little more than what is written in Giovanni Guareschi’s work. But he feels more like the Napoleon of Notting Hill. I wonder where Chesterton got his inspiration from…

I'm confused. Doesn't gmail offer an 'undo' for send by default ? At least for the last 5 years ? It's in General settings "Undo Send" and can be set up to 30 seconds ?

Isn’t the glaringly obvious problem Garbage Collection? I’d try digging into this first. Try to completely disable VC and see if there are any slowdowns before you run out of memory. Go from there.

Is there a good summary of a) price trends for each AI platform and b) price comparison between platforms ? I have not used any of the platforms truly professionally, but I have not as of yet had to pay anything to claude or qwen3. I am pay

I mean, it's often unavoidable since Google puts AI results on top of the page (and more and more pages create content via "AI", so even organic search results may be tainted. Anyway, I stand corrected.

It really depends on the use case. A one-off install on a laptop that I don't use for anything that gets close to production - fine by me. For anything that I want to depend on, I prefer stronger auditability to ease of install. I get

I used to be a true believe in nuclear (in the 80s, 90s). Recently, I thought (with good justification) that it's a folly to build out nuclear if renewables' economics continue on the current path. Recently, I wonder if a nuclear
