Way I see it, is that 'just doing the minimum' is utterly soul-destroying. And if you're doing that, then just you need to focus on everything else to stay sane. Work is never going to feel better. However, if you can find at

My guess is that it's to prevent cross-contamination. i.e. wearing a mask will protect a user, but the outside of it isn't sterile. So if you come off a covid ward, easier to just bin the mask and take a new one, than wash the out

I agree. I think the ideal would be that it just happens organically - your employees get along, groups want to spend time together outside of their employment, you reap the benefit when they're working in it. It's invaluable to k

I always felt that most "enforced-fun-games" were excellent at team building. Being "asked to cross an imaginary river" etc is a great way to unite the humble employees in their universal loathing of their woefully mis-g

Just to follow on from that - I think the thing that irritates is 'cheapness' rather than lack of overt generosity. To give a couple of examples. The office was kitted out with poor monitors - cheapest Dell sold. Some people bough

I'd always looked at it as there being '2 strands' within the company. There's the main one, where you "make the money" - this (obviously) has to be profitable at all costs. Then there's the other than int

But that isn't the argument, so put your straw-man away. Nobody is saying anybody should be banned/blocked for who they are - just for what they say. e.g. Similar to the "gay cake" case ( https://www.bbc.co.uk&
