I now see what's going on...the OP claims to be running an e-recycling center but actually takes "donations" and sells them for a profit instead.

I'm surprised how little is written about employer-operated mass transit. The shuttles that Google, Apple etc run in the SFBA are great.

It's totally acceptable to write to libc in something other than C, or in fact to write libc itself in something other than C.

This is a pretty weak security mitigation since any ROP attack will typically achieve return-to-libc anyway, but yelling at people who make syscalls directly is good.

The TGV entry skips over the 20 years of R&D on high speed rail that preceded the first major construction, much of which was wasted on gas turbine designs.

Amusingly I recently bought something from Jet (owned by Walmart) because the listing for the item on Amazon had a series of oddities suggesting it was counterfeit. The next day it showed up at my door...from an Amazon courier. Evidently br

I have to imagine that a large part of the interest in fuel cells comes from its defense applications (particularly for submarines). It's been clear for years that for cars it's a total dead end.

The core problem here is really "free" returns. There's a nasty feedback loop: consumers return things more often, so sellers make items junkier and junkier because their margins keep shrinking.
