Interestingly enough, if you aren’t familiar with the location, there’s no foolproof method to tell whether it’s morning or evening by light alone. There may be cues, like if it’s a city then the properties of light could reflect the denser

On my own I could only translate the word on the left, “狗官”. The first character means “dog”, the second one means “officer” (that one is the same as in “警官”, which means “police officer”).

I’m sure it depends on location, but there is the opportunistic crime—if home owners are away, probe the door to see whether it’s locked, get in and grab something if not. Routers and mass scans are somewhat similar.

If you are looking to replace the 32-bit-only Aperture with something else for photo editing on Catalina and don’t like Adobe’s subscription model, you may want to consider Capture One. It is actively supported, has the “buy and own” option

The damage from an unpatched router can be pretty far-reaching, especially in cases where it can be exploited over Internet (not sure about this one, but some other D-Link vulnerabilities reportedly could). I find it regrettable that the ar

Google Translate, Maps work in China, for example. Google Maps in particular, when viewed within the country, follows ruling party line on where to draw the borders[0], though it is not a practice they apply to China exclusively. [0] https

I was only pointing out that the new MSFS has whole-planet terrain and many thousands airports, like X-Plane. Whether the terrain looks better or not I don't know and frankly don’t care that much, it probably heavily depends on the set

Apparently the author of that article is considered pro-PRC in HK, as he supports the Greater Bay Area idea. Uhm. On the merits, though, some of what he writes makes sense.

Depends on their near-term goals. If dismantling HK’s SAR status is on the list, make sure that protests in Hong Kong remain violent and feature people waving flags of USA. Use that as an excuse to intervene in order to fight terrorism and&

Yes, it’s really cool to be able to look up online the actual real-world area and airport charts with radio frequencies and all, plan your flight with something like SkyVector (free, no affiliation), and then reproduce it fully in the sim w

TL;DR: New MS Flight Simulator features overhauled flight model, bringing it closer to (or up to par with) X-Plane; overhauled whole-planet scenery (again, parity with XP); still apparently no cross-platform support. I’m a happy user of X-P

What about aiming not in the chest at least? Would a bullet in a foot have enough stopping power, without being so short of lethal outcome?

Why does anger exist? Personally I can’t see how anger can be anything else but a manifestation of certain underlying fear as a defensive response. (That said, those emotions seem to be conventionally recognized as mostly unrelated.)
