Right, if people never commute to work, they'd never use cars. It's not like our entire country is built with the assumption that you'll need to use a car for going literally anywhere (unless you live in few select big cities

Claims like this are in general not well-founded. There is no objective way to determine the value of a thing outside of the economy. If there were, and if it were meaningful such that $ value converges to the "real value" economy

I checked both of those arguments and wasn't convinced. First link demonstrates an email by Poettering claiming checksums won't fix anything useful. Clearly he's talking about a specific usecase of checksums and not talking a

"Abomination" is not a good enough argument. Systemd is very useful, and in order for someone to convince me not to use it, I need to see a good argument against it. "It's too big, it's an abomination" don'

Interesting post. In "Linear Algebra" section what do you mean by `a'`? Do you mean `inv(a)`? It seems like this was never explained in your own formalism.

I personally found DynamoDB enjoyable but the trick is you need to understand DynamoDB gives you exactly no way to have analytics, so you have to have a separate and robust story for analytics e.g. we periodically dump our DynamoDB into a R

Very misleading, English doesn't have diacritics but it has copious amounts of digraphs like ch, sh, tch, eu, oe, oo etc... All of which may represent a different sound (being a Germanic language, English has a huge variety of vowels).
