I changed most of my passwords today. It's good to change the passwords every so often anyway - it took me less time to just change my important passwords, than to check if the sites they are for, were using Cloudflare.

As I understand the issue, the leaked data might be from any other site using Cloudflare caching. But only requests to sites using the features you mention, will have leaked data.

It's too late to disable loading heavy things at that point - the loading is already started. Do the opposite, start loading heavy things if the page loaded quickly. A clean way would be to set one of two classes, connection-slow or co

Random idea: Get the current time in a JS block in the head, before you load any CSS and JS, and compare it to the time when the dom ready event fires. If there's no real difference, load hi-res backgrounds and so on. If there is a rea

It is an extra vuln. if the JWT only has the role=admin K/V, and no expiration value. A jwt that is only valid for a certain time is no less secure than a session id, as long as you verify the signature correctly.

In my home town, speed limits are lowered during winter, because that lowers emissions (from diesel cars, as well as asphalt dust), and that literally makes fewer people die from bad air. In this case, it has absolutely nothing to do with r

Well, driverless cars will have to deal with unauthorized humans doing all sorts of weird stuff in traffic. I think this is a smaller problem.

Pumped hydro seems simplest, and we often have the power plant already in place. But temperature differential storage, pressure differential storage, and creating hydrogen all seems to scale better to me.

How about we let all the useless noise die? I mean the sites here, not the ads. I have fond memories of the 'old' internet, where web sites existed because someone cared, not because someone wanted to sell ad space. Maybe I have s

Then you can't find symphonies by different composers, performed by different orchestras, but with the same conductor. Unfortunately, this is also close to impossible in online music services, in my experience.

This idea that some developers don't need to deal with unicode, really needs to die. If you're creating a web app and don't support unicode input, you're doing it wrong. You probably can't accurately store the names
