"maybe not for a power developer" I'd expect an actual "power developer" to be able to cope with any kind of environment! :-) A proper hacker should be able to make a Chromebook do virtually anything.

Ah, interesting. And quite punny, given the foundations! But I don't think it's like anyone forces you to use the libs. I'd probably "go to the bedrock" (like the author of FOX Toolkit did) anyway if I had to write something on top of LÖVE.

That's still a better uptime than any computer I've ever seen! (Come to think of it, with my health and with my luck, that's a better uptime than my mortal solenoid is probably ever going to have... :/)

No, it's strawberry jam, can't you tell? (I'm sorry for the sarcasm, you've sort of asked for it. I'm officially curious: what else did you think it was?)

I'd actually argue that Javascript's object model, given its current usages, is close to ideal - but not perfect. It would be better if the language provided a set of kernel functionalities for you to build whatever higher object model you

Yes, but in that case, you go to your psychologist/psychiatrist/neurologist to take care of yourself, not to your local energy provider.

With 100% grid-supplied power, changes in load are driven by slow-moving, predictable systems like sunrise/sunset, weather, and seasons. If you are running your own solar array, though, you will vary your grid load on much shorter time s

That's not very good reasoning. If all software patents are bunk, so are many electrical engineering patents. I hope that the second sentence is not supposed to be a substantiation for the first one. If anything, it's an example of why th

That would be useless. I believe the point of proper tail calls is that the set of functions that may be called from a particular call site is not closed. The callee may be a parameter of the caller, for example in combinator-style librarie

I believe that these languages do have a specified execution model (how would you execute them without one?), they just don't have any hard prescription as to how to map it onto hardware the same way that, for example, C does.
