> You wouldn't need apples seal of approval though, would you? Short answer: You still need to get apples seal of approval. You will still have to use the AppStore to get that app on the iPhone. The only other route is a web-app. You wi

That still doesn't change much to my argument: If the app does not behave exactly like a proper iOS app should Apple is going to reject it. So we can forget about a simple cross-platform middleware layer that can create the same app for mul

I wouldn't bet on Flash CS5 apps being accepted anytime soon. You're still required to adhere to the iOS look and feel, apps that behave differently will be rejected.

I don't think this actually changes anything? Apple still bans under section 1 and I think 10.1 any app that don't have a consistent iOS look and feel and behavior. The requirement to only use native widgets is still enforced. So, either t

At the core of the economic problem is the mismatch between the price of basis necessities (which include healthcare, shelter, energy, mobility, education, clothes, food and water, etc) and a normal income: The last century wages haven't in

Likewise we could postulate a more realistic and limited creator-god, one which might even be empirical observable, either directly or indirect. The point being that we can only know which features a deity actually has after one has been ob

The problem is that one has to be convinced that multiple universes (which by definition can't be observed) exist. Which means rejecting the idea of one (potentially empirically observable) unknown entity [a creator or "god"] only to replac

When people use the word "god" it's meaning is often implicitly assumed, rarely identified, almost never defined in a testable way. How do you recognize a deity? Which observable, ideally measurable, features should one be looking for? The

The main advantage we get from having a relatively huge moon is stability of the earths rotational axes, without the moon the earth would have periods where it had one sunny side and one cold dark side.

The problem I see is the simple fact that one can't ever do an actual experiment that demonstrates the existence of multiple universes… Here we have left empirical science and moved on to "anything can happen" speculative fiction, where aut

What about evolution? All known life is algorithmic? Hence, given enough time, programming (coding) should be easy enough so that it could be automated. Given a suitable environment it could even spontaneously just happen. No? Design is har
