Not only that, with a large group of people you can't trust everyone to have the judgement to tell exceptions to the rule. So it works better to just have everyone learn a simple rule like "don't move anything"

the puppy mill thing is disgusting. I also knew a pathologist who clued me in on the fact that a lot of the breed characteristics are considered diseases in humans, e.g. the achondroplasia of dachsands and basset hounds. My thinking- you sh

That explains why most every dog breed that competes on looks and becomes popular gets messed up. Also American breeders have this odd habit of taking large dogs that should be about 80 lbs and breeding them into behemoths, usually to the d

The writer has little sense of history and doesn't understand what "Hollywood" as a business, is. Hollywood is content creation. When Netflix creates their own content, they are becoming part of that business. The theater bus

It might. I haven't read much speculative (fiction?) on the singularity but if it posits the machines reach a point where they begin to evolve through selection then it is likely that an emotion capable AI would outcompete. I wonder wh

WRT AI vs humans I see the main difference as human minds evolved emotions. Many people like to think the human mind is logic with a little emotion sprinkled on top. It is quite the opposite. We make decisions based on emotion and logic is
