Sure, but one shouldn't feel obligated to provide value. Providing intellectual stimulation when unasked for immediately marks one (to the lay person) as the proverbial know-it-all. Their body language will speak magnitudes; just watch

We may be okay if COVID is our only real threat. Self isolation won't be impeded, and hospitals will not over saturate. If anything disturbs self isolation, like a massive earthquake, drought, Australian like fires, or like you say a w

More emotion, less logic. People like to feel good. They don't necessarily want to learn something new. Crack jokes, banter, wear a smile, but don't be a clown. Best way is to surround yourself by people who do the same. Do not fe

I have, and I am heavily inspired by it. Figured I'd take a stab at it myself. I have a big love for Starcraft II, and I am trying to incorporate as many elements from it into Age II.

Godspeed, Walter. Been a fan since 2010 as I also come from a mechanical engineering background while being fascinated by programming. TDPL sits next to KNR on my shelf

I am sensing a lot of hostility in this thread and Walter Bright, the founder of D, is replying to direct accusations in this thread. Mods? What's going on HN?

You do understand that you're replying to the founder of D, right? Walter put his whole life into D. Can we please show a little compassion for someone's life's work?

Making a couple games free to showcase a collection of 20 something already free games is nothing to complain about. GOG is reaching out to those in need during hard self isolating times. It is a win for everyone, and in my books, GOG deser

My bad if I wasn't clear - I meant daily. My point is America's obesity rate will just make things worse than what we are seeing in Italy.

That's more than North America has tested for infected. How fucked is North America then? Italy is skinny as hell. The states suffers from an obesity epidemic.
