Isn’t this just the byproduct of the karma/voting system? Content voted by the majority of users is going to have higher visibility, it’s pretty difficult to get around that without fundamentally changing the way the website works.

Another solution for certain type of books is to have the audio version read at 1.5x speed during your commutes. 100 books in a year is totally feasible (assuming it’s not textbooks or anything that would require you to look at illustration

I always found it interesting that English is classified as a Germanic language while it is more similar (vocabulary and grammar) to Romance languages than to some Germanic languages, including German.
