Very cool! I'd be perfectly happy to watch videos that combine human creativity and choice with AI. I don't consider this kind of video "slop". Once the glitches are eliminated, this workflow will be unstoppable.

I only have a single service at any given time and keep rotating them over the year. Even bad services have one or two interesting series you can watch and then dump the service after a month. It's a lot cheaper than cable still...

It killed itself. I always remember the joke about any random sequence of characters and numbers being a valid Perl program. More importantly, there's hardly a problem that can't be solved in a much better way through other means.

As someone who was in this limbo and eventually became a citizen... It's better than the other options. In particular, I could take my dollar savings back to my home country and I'd still be much ahead of my friends who never trie

NetHack is, in many ways, a dream game. While I enjoy text games, I think that poor graphics really break the immersion for RPGs. I would love to play a NetHack with GREAT graphics - high res final fantasy VI style, for instance.

This is another status quo improvement from Valve. Great job! That said, I feel we're trading evil gaming monopolies for a less evil monopoly. I can only truly support Valve once they start actually selling games rather than game "

The copilot integration everywhere is incredibly annoying and intrusive, but the copilot site appears just to be a light wrapper over ChatGPT. I use it from time to time, it's alright.

You're touching the heart of the question, but not in the way you think. Any arbitrary statement could be construed as offensive by SOME culture out there. But people prefer to immediately assume the worst and be offended instead of gi

GOG proves you can still have a solid business in the space. Steam is dominant but not necessarily a monopoly. For all of its faults, Steam is still better than most competitors.
