I love suburbia. I grew up in "walkable residential neighborhoods with cafes/restaurants/shops where neighbors interact" outside the US. Thank you, but no thank you. Crowded, nosy judgemental people, noisy and small prop

I just saw a video of it. Impressive. Were the enemy ships hand drawn 3D plastered on sprites? Or was there some actual realtime 3D rendered by the CPU? The boss ship I saw looked like realtime 3D.

Yeah, but at least the XBOX sits in a low power mode that does updates and keeps the spot you were in your game saved. It's really transparent. I'm not saying Steam can't do that but it's not in the same league yet.

Doom and gloom articles are what make people get out of the market in fear and lose in the long run. An individual investor isn't in the same stock market as Berkshire. Their investments move prices and they can't just allocate 50

But that's not the same. I'm heavy PC user but I only play games on a console. The reason is simple: zero friction. I play games when I'm tired, so if I have to wait a minute for a Steam update (which happened a month ago on

I feel the opposite. I find old homes heavy, cluttered (as you said) and oppressive. I love clean and modern environments.

This. I don't particularly like the LLM writing style, but we've read a ton of very poorly written texts over the year with no complaints. LLMs are average writers with an annoying style, but not bad writers. If the content is goo

I was surprised to come back to my XBOX account after 10 years in the US and see that very old digital purchases from previous console generations were not only still available, but actually playable on the latest console through transparen

Sure. The place for these adults to get books is the county/city library and not the school library. As I said, there's a certain common denominator that we need to respect when talking about public schools.

I've banned a number of books from my household as I don't want my child exposed to them. And I support banning them from the school. Children aren't adults. It's reasonable to expect that education caters to a common de

How much are we going to pay for "AI kits" once the DRAM shortage is over? Will we be able to run a local model equivalent to the current AI frontier in sub $1000 hardware, even if dedicated, in 5 years?

There is a rule to reverse the call on the books. Article 27 allows FIFA to replace the suspension for a probationary period. Of course the online mob didn't bother checking that.
