Also, driving at zero miles per hour reduces car accidents to zero... obviously this is good to reduce accidents but frankly mildly annoying for the vast majority of people actually trying to get somewhere. They quoted percentage changes, b

But I'm not being a pedant, we're measuring sarcasm. Someone has to clearly define it to judge the AI. If everyone in these threads thinks sarcasm is anything "negative" then they are wrong. That would be a negative sent

Sarcasm is saying one thing and meaning the opposite. If monsters are most harmless, then also not wanting to live there makes logical sense and isn't backwards. So that's straightforward mockery, not sarcastic.

Can you please specify at least a part or two that you specifically feel are sarcastic? The author doesn't seem to like the movie but I feel like the majority of the comments are quite factual or seem like straightforward opinion.

I really like the Neanderthal library because it does a pretty good job of abstracting over Nvidia, AMD, and Intel hardware to provide matrix operations in an extremely performant manner for each one with the same code. Dragan goes into a l

I don't know much Go but what does it mean to "accidentally" append to an immutable array? Are there just no particular guards for arrays and they are saying something which should be treated as immutable?

There is an example in TFA which shows how if you have a normal thread pool and two tasks with one sleeping indefinitely and only a single thread to execute, the the second thread never executes. Then the example switches to virtual threads

But Futures still tie up a real OS thread. You can chain them together which alleviates some additional thread cost but it's not M:N scheduling, you're just being more clever with your OS threads. Virtual Threads separate those co

My understanding was that almost all countries with advanced economies are experiencing negative growth in producing children. So even if you are right about the nuance in age, go look at Japan. Their population is shrinking.
