Thanks for sharing that. I hadn't seen that one before and it strikes me as very appropriate for the way I see things. Thanks again. Seriously.

I'm sure many people have a Windows 7 license they use for VMware/Parallels around here. If I were to do this gaming rig, I'd use the license from that. Useful to state that I don't use my W7 license for anything other than the oddball wind

Life and Death. At what point do you admit to yourself you love your life and want to continue to live? At that point, that's when shamelessness and modesty are thrown on the window and you do what you can to try to survive.

I suppose via ActiveSync contact syncing that Google Voice contacts show up in your iPhone Contacts database. Which has been doable for quite some time now. But previously, to call one of those numbers via Google Voice you had to call it vi

One show is one thing. I think you'll get a better picture after several. But hey, if you like it you like it. No harm in that. I was merely saying, maybe in a hyperbolic way, that his attitude rubs me the wrong way. It bothers me that such

And it's not as if I "dislike" him. I dislike his show and the attitude I see on it. He might be a perfectly nice guy in person. It's his online persona or whatever that I dislike so much. The fact that he comes across the way he does makes

That's a good point. I think the success is what changed him. When the podcast started he was just starting to become a member of the "outspoken" members of the community. Thus, he was sort of the new guy. You know what I'm talking about. T

It wasn't intended to come out as if I was complaining. Someone mentioned the podcast, it's not as though I brought it up myself. I liked the podcast in the beginning. It just simply took a different path than it should've in my opinion. Th

Marco comes across as a real ass on his podcast. Which has made me not listen to Build & Analyze, or use his app. Hell, "Build & Analyze" isn't so much about "Building & Analyzing" as it is him bitching about stuff. I'm not even

There wasn't a 4G. It's called the iPhone 4, and it's successor is the 4S. Notice, no G in there. The original iPhone was called "iPhone." No 2G in the name. Yes, it was using a 2G network, but it was NOT the iPhone 2G. The iPhone 3G and 3G

Since Bitbucket now supports Git I'd say that's a better option for anyone that just wants to keep their repos somewhere. Either way is great, but Bitbucket makes it easier for sharing if that's needed.

Agreed. I don't see the point in registering with apple a particular phrase. Wasn't part of the reasoning behind new hardware being required was that much of the translation is being done ON the phone, not in "the cloud"? Or is this now wro

It was actually Epic that said 512mb. The guys that created Infinity Blade. Not a big deal but figured it's something worth pointing out for people looking for more information.

Yea yea, keep defending yourself Arn. You guys have done great work in the past. But you've taken things a bit far this time. You win some you lose some, but you helped set expectations way too high and that resulted in some serious disappo

Yup. MacRumors really did a disservice to everyone with that mock up stuff. I get what the reasoning was, but that doesn't make it any better. Sometimes the rumor sites just flat out get it wrong, and MacRumors I think is responsible for a

I had installed iOS 5 on my 3GS just to do some testing. It ran perfectly fine. Better than iOS 4 actually. It may be old looking, but aside from processing power, graphics performance and "retina" display, it is a perfectly fine phone for

A lot of the rumors seem to indicate that it's an iPhone 4S feature because of processing power requirements. It sounds as though there is a lot of processing happening on the device. It goes to the "cloud" for looking things up that aren't

Last time I used Android was 2.2 on a Nexus One. There were some stutter issues as I recall. But the biggest complaint wasn't the "look" really, it was much more so many inconsistencies from app to app. Every app just feels free to do and l

I used to like Marco Arment. But he's one of those people that was better left to keep himself quieter. The more out spoken he's gotten the more obnoxious he's gotten. Sometimes it's best to keep one's mouth shut and be thought a fool than

The point is they should've been making money a lot sooner. I'd agree they aren't real businesses because they AREN'T MAKING MONEY. That is sort of the definition of a company no? How young they are? That is a criteria for whether a company

You're right. Compromises need to be made in order to keep the iPad efficient in the way it was originally designed and it's pretty unlikely that it will ever become a mobile coding workstation like the GP wants. Why you're being down voted
