files can be modified by any text editor in /etc it sounds like you are advocating for a system similar to the windows registry. it can easily corrupt and can’t be fixed by live cds or other operating systems that have the filesystem d

I do this but I also put a javascript field that is already checked and js unchecks it. not great for no script users but pretty good for any random bot that is using curl or some other scripting language and doesn’t check your trap box.

I read the comment as email us with the reason you should be unbanned and we will consider it. instead you are told that the email was a waste of time. my point is why make the users email? just explain that you’ve been banned but the users

for anyone that actually wants to take the time to email, all they do is tell you to keep making comments that others vouch for and maybe one day you’ll get unbanned. they won’t actually do it just based on you agreeing to follow the rules.

they notify you when you get banned. i’m currently one of them. I didn’t notice for a few days though because the site doesn’t have an obvious way of notifying you when you get a reply.
