What about pointing a camera at the screen and then paging through all the numbers on the Mac while capturing images?? Then you could OCR the numbers directly on the capturing laptop rather than trying to convert sound back into text. 10&#x

Well personally, as an investor I’m more incredulous at the price. I hold both nvidia and apple and I’ve made good money from both. It’s worth looking at all the reasons for the price going up and what happens when the price goes down. So I

Yeah… not good. Particularly for a political organisation set up to counter and repair the damage caused by fascism. On both sides of the political spectrum, politicians act as if society simply doesn’t exist. Plus even if it’s not far righ

The EU is pretty weird ideologically I think. It somehow manages to neutrally combine every ideological position into one while cancelling them out somehow. It’s like centrist, communist, and strangely fascist while being warmly benign and

True, true. But in a gold rush once everyone has a pick and a shovel the gold tends to get mined out extremely rapidly and 95% of the people go home with the same nada that they started with.

Yeah but what else did Meta spend a ridiculous amount of capex on recently, can you remember? The tens of billions it spent on the metaverse were dead money and its AI ambitions could amount to the same given Meta really doesn’t have much t

The retail bulls online are now refusing to listen to that narrative. But it seems like a large correction of NVidia’s price is in the post. Nvidia added $480 billion of market cap in the last week alone. It’s getting pretty absurd. Plus Mo

What if you’re in the UK? I have no idea if we’re still implementing EU ideas like this, or if Signal being based in the EU will cause a blanket sweep. It’s also almost hilarious that the centre of the EU in Belgium will hoover up all the c

“The company’s mission is to understand the true nature of the universe” - There’s no way an LLM is going to get anywhere near understanding this. The true nature of the universe is unlikely to be captured in language.

Yeah I do kind of love the current dynamic "different every time" Mac OS wallpaper / splash screen. It's corporate Apple but still great, and infinitely better than MS's Borg-like contentless flatness.

It’s not up to the courts whether they touch things with a 1km pole or a 1 inch one. The courts have to deal with whatever ends up in them. Given the courts regularly deal with murder via decapitation or incest, I’m sure “The Case of the At
