You can fix that in other ways that doesn't block access to all extensions. Like yeah even just a checkbox to enable experimental extension support like "[] I understand Firefox can become slower from unsupported extensions I inst

What? You are saying that the `about:config` feature only exists in Firefox for historical and backward compatible reasons? And Firefox rather actually doesn't want to provide people the ability to easily override advanced configs? I t

SVN doesn't do very good conflict resolution. It especially becomes more of a problem when you have multiple people working on several branches, that might want to merge some of each other's work. Apart from this, git also came wi

What? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but are you saying that absense of git knowledge is not a factor for career possibilities? I guess it depends on the kind of job..

Isn't this the case with git? If you only do basic stuff I think you don't need more than 10 commands. And if you wanna go more advanced, you have the other commands and flags. Git has also added some new commands like `switch` to

Would seem to me that scammy adds negatively impact the reputation of your product. Makes it easier for a competitor to gain traction "I rather use Y, much safer and more reliable than YouTube".

If you think you can trust Google because they are not interested in robbing your bank account, then you have fallen well for their deceptive campaigns. Google is just a next level robber that operates on corporate level.

From all our arguments I think it's obvious that Lit has less lock-in than any other framework we discussed. If you find it so important to prove your point, why don't you make an exstensive comparison of all the discussed framewo

SSR, context and tasks are all separate packages, not in the Lit core package. The others are very basic functionalily for what you expect from a framework like Lit. It has to do something ultimately :D

Sorry but I think it is quite obvious that a large framework will create much more lock-in and dependency than a tiny library. The more specific stuff you use, the more you are locked in. And yeah Lit still does some things for you so there

Any technology has issues and limitations. Many basic browser functionalties also don't work with the React workflow, and Lit brings those things back again, making it more native, and less need for framework code. It seems you are onl

Well, any popular framework has all these things, and most frameworks have a lot more. Lit is really the littlest amount of tools you would want. With less than that, you can just as well directly use the web component APIs, and not use a f

I think you are trying to impose a React workflow on Web Components. Some things that work in React indeed don't work in Web Components / Lit, but that is usually for good reasons. There are a lot of quirks with React too, for exa
