You might want to give a try to Elm. Most of the Haskell goodies but way simpler, except no type classes and too restrictive.

They say in India, When we are born, we are given a certain number of breaths. The quicker we spend our breaths, the sooner we die. Tortoise breaths 4 times per minute and lives for ~300 years.

Yes Hasura looks like a serious contender. Uses Postgres as database and GraphQL interface. Supports real-time updates.

I’ve wondered the same for some time, they intentionally used to degrade performance of older iPhones on OS upgrade. Or sell spare parts at obscene prices, actually buying a new device makes more sense than repairing, creating more e-waste.

I mis-read the title, thought it’s about 3D printing the PCBs. That’s something easily achievable and useful to hobbyists like myself.

If you’re just starting 3D printing, don’t choose a delta printer. I’ve got one and even after spending endless hours on calibration, I never got it to print precise dimensions.

That looks amazing. Using bootstrap or other css frameworks across different frameworks (react, vue etc) is a pain. This looks like a good start!

I tried learning FP with Clojure, but could not get my head around all the parenthesis. Somehow came across Elm, it's documentation is very beginner friendly (and so is the language itself). If you want to learn typed FP, Elm is the wa

Too little too late. Wish I knew that before, I broke my MacBook Air camera with that tiny sliding cover. Tried SMC reset and what not. It works “sometimes” though.

When you are angry you breathe fast, when you’re relaxed you breathe slowly, you must have noticed that. Emotions affect breathing. The reverse is also true, if you control your breathing you can control your emotions/feelings and over

Just sharing my experience with Elm. Using it in production for over two years, 150K LOC elm codebase. Yes elm does have some problems, but I’ll choose elm over react/vue etc. for new project, simply because of the awesome development

As an individual, I can decide to not work on such things. Didn't Google employees take a stand against something similar? and Google had to backtrack.
