Care to have a phone call with who you call a bot tonight? If so, send a DM on twitter to @edfixyz with your phone number and I will call you immediately. Or give me your twitter handle. I'm tired of that BS - when people don't li

I'm not a bot. You are saying that because for some reason you resent people who have a good experience with Codex / OpenAI. Curious what that is - people hate the CEO or what? I like Claude Code too btw. The crazy thing here is t

> In 2026, I don't use an IDE any more. I don't think it is the best way to look at it. I think that now every team has the power to build and maintain an internal agent (tool + UX) to manager software products. I don't ne

Got it, thank you for the insight. The assumption is that Claude has access to a stream of fresh, currated data. Building that would be a different focus for Anthropic. Plus Thomson Reuters could build an integration. Not totally convinced

I'm not really understanding why Thomson Reuters is at direct risk from AI. Providing good data streams will still be very valuable?

> "immoral technofascist life" Many people would rather argue about morality and conscience (of our time, of our society) instead of confronting facts and reality. What we see here is a textbook case of that.

I played the bot (probably early 2025) and wasn't that impressed. I won 5-1 or something like it. I did win one or two local chess tournaments in the past but I'm really not an impressive chess player.

Curious how this new design addresses the biggest safety challenge of nuclear reactors (the issue that was the root cause of the Fukushima accident and an indirect cause of Chernobyl): how do we ensure that the nuclear core temperature rema

This comment is totally unnecessary. There are tons of skilled American engineers who aren't extremists / activists.

I'm just wondering why governments think it's a good idea to regulate ads. IMO that is something the market (e.g. the users) should take care of.

There is no doubt that OpenAI is taking a lot of risks by betting that AI adoption will translate into revenues in the very short term. And that could really happen imo (with a low probability sure, but worth the risk for VCs? Probably).

I'm based in the US and I tried twice to create an account for Hetzner (a personal account as well as a company / startup account). They rejected all my attempts. I don't quite understand their business model :)

My understanding of YC is that they place more emphasis on the founders than the initial idea, and teams often pivot. That being said, I think there is an opportunity for them to discover and serve an important enterprise use case as AI in

I was staying in a apartment in London a long time ago and a Sunday(!) bailiffs came and kicked everyone in the building out in 3 hours. The reason was that the rent hadn't been paid to the building owner by the management company. Mos

The fact is that, for a long time, British kings considered themselves kings of France as well - and even believed that France was the senior kingdom. The language they spoke reflected that attitude. That said, as a Frenchman who has to spe

Totally. Mini apps and mini-app stores are already developing in crypto (Farcaster, World,..) and the approach may well become the primary way to deploy advanced and secure apps going forward.

Wang doesn’t strike me as an inspiring AI leader, and Meta’s AI leadership and strategy feel unclear. Hopefully they’ll address that soon, because in the meantime OpenAI is executing and shipping.

Fully disagree. OpenAI has 800 millions active users and has effectively democratized cutting-edge AI to an amazing number of people everywhere. It took much longer for the Internet or Mobile Internet to have such an impact. So "boring
