>Critics of the system point out that the system produces heat, but also wastes nearly 250,000 gallons of water per day, according to a 2015 story by CBS Bay Area. Any reason why they couldn't use ocean water?

There's also a handful 3D tech demos for the GBA. That one's only got 2D hardware and a single 16MHz ARM7TDMI. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFmhpZ4A1mQ

That one's the pretty much the optimal implementation though. * it's a small bar on the bottom * the site works without clicking on the consent buttons * it has clear "opt-in" or "opt-out" options * no annoying

Obviously not. Why would you think so? You're only liable for the software shared under a support agreement. I feel people really try to pick the worst possible interpretation of these laws just so they can hate on the EU.

If someone sold me support for a piece of open source software (like ISC and BIND) then I definitely would expect some level of liability if there's something wrong with it. Otherwise why would I pay for support if I could just self-ho

I do think intent matters. Take Picasso. He made classical paintings in his early career, then developed completely new styles over decades, very much demonstrating that whatever he did away with was done intentionally so. It's why Roy

>The distorted/incorrect perspective for example is a feature, not a shortcoming. IMO it can only be considered a feature if Roy Lichtenstein ever demonstrated that he actually could draw correct perspective if he wanted to.

Kudos for actually specifying energy production in gigawatts instead of something stupid like GWh/year like so many journalists like to do.

Apple Hardware I'd split further into silicon business and device OEM. Also split out the headphone business.

A one-time expense also has an opportunity cost though. If you invested your $1000 with an average 4% yearly gain it'd be $4800 after those 50 years. (but then of course the same opportunity cost also applies to your monthly payments)

This is something I did recently. We have this binary format we use for content traces. You can dump it to JSON, but that turns a ~10GB into a ~100GB file. I needed to check some aspects of this with Python, so I used ijson[1] to parse the
