All I know is since they introduced this feature I received 4 spam messages about crypto, whereas in the past several years I received 0 such messages. Overall a net negative for me.

I mean, probably. But there's no smoking gun here, just wild speculation. Someone should dig deeper and ask Microsoft / OpenAI to disclose exactly how they obtained the "threat intelligence". Here's the full report

We've had the Hololens for 8 years (and VR for even longer) and no groundbreaking apps or features showed up. I suspect there simply aren't any. And there probably won't be any until we get the tech down to just look like reg

I was mostly talking about the Enterprise subscriptions (E3/E5) that CTOs really love getting for their employees. Glad to hear the home subscription provides good value to you.

Bundling should be regulated in general. It's similar to Microsoft 365 jacking up the prices by claiming they're adding more "value" with products / features no one asked for. I use almost nothing else from Amazon b

Idea is interesting, but zooming in every time you click on something is very unintuitive; if this is for "exploration" it should keep the zoom level while you click on things. Also a direct link to Wikipedia would be nice instead

I have AdGuardHome running in a Docker on the PVE that also hosts my router (OpnSense) in a VM. They both have an uptime of 341 days (which was the last time I did a scheduled kernel upgrade on the host machine). There is no reason for a re

It's obvious that Apple's incentives around developing more standards (that make PWAs more potent) directly conflict with their walled garden (AppStore) revenues. In this regard, they are remarkably similar to Microsoft's Int

I don't even share my Hulu account, but this anti-competitive move was just the last tiny push I needed to cancel Hulu and Disney+ since we barely use it anyway. Needed to go through 3 pages of "are you sure?", "here

Get a laser printer. None of the things you mentioned apply to my Brother laser printer, it works beautifully, over WiFi, and with 3rd party toners and I never had a paper jam or signed up for a subscription.

Yes. HoloLens came out 8 years ago, at the same price point and pretty much with the same set of features (only slightly larger). The only reason it flopped (and Microsoft stopped investing in it) is lack of compelling applications. Absolut

I called it a failure and stand by that statement. There is no killer app / feature on this product, the only thing keeping it alive is the "Apple hype". I imagine the few consumers that bought into it will soon realize its u

It's surprising Apple went ahead and released this product that will 100% be a flop in the market. Many hoped Apple would have the "killer feature/app" that would make AR/VR relevant, but instead they launched yet a
