Have you considered that those experts might have perverse incentives? It’s not a secret that the very regulators whose job it is to make sure we don’t eat poison are the same people who sell the food. But sure feel free to “trust the exper

That’s assuming there’s something to do or people to talk to outside. For most people (in the US at least) everything outside needs to be accessed by car and then where do you go? Hard to talk to strangers at a coffee shop. Might have luck

Has anyone asked why so many companies seem to care so much about the appearance of DEI? And all at the same time? I know there’s cultural shifts towards that sort of thing, probably to fill the void left by religion, but does that explain

Was thinking of the tax credit, but yeah that makes sense (assuming that the post-ACA unsubsidized price of a plan is lower than its pre-ACA price).

Stupid question but does that mean the “discount” comes from tax dollars? i.e. medical costs are spread out more but we’re also collectively spending more of our income on it?

You have an argument for formaldehyde, but “over your life more aluminum ends up in your stomach than you get injected into your bloodstream as a newborn” is pretty weak logic

It’s completely factual to say that newborns are being injected with aluminum & pharmaceutical companies are legally invulnerable to what happens as a result of that. But I’m sure this comment will be flagged regardless because this is

You’re fortunate. At least in a lot of the US people live insular lives and only rarely run into people at the grocery store.

The problem is that an overwhelming amount of the left label statements not meant to be hateful as hateful, specifically: “there are two genders”. Everything has been reduced to “hate”, to the point that it actively muddies the waters wrt a

Do you mean that for like a specific person’s made up god, or would you replace “your God” with “a God, an entity, or a mind of some kind”. Because in that case I assume those two points wouldn’t apply, right?
