Expected process flow should never be handled by exceptions. They're slow, ugly, and often non-deterministic.

The Bolt Bus from NYC to Boston and back for $30 round trip was one of the best decisions I'd ever made. Clean, quiet, and room enough to get my work done along the way.

I can confirm this has worked wonderfully on my AT&T Samsung Focus. I really hope this is Microsoft's first step towards a full route-around of AT&T.

Seeing as how every YouTube video I've tried to play in a Windows Phone has worked, I fail to see what the issue is at all. Clearly details are missing.

Alas, while caring can continue into infinity, zero is indeed the lower bound. See also: http://www.incompetech.com/Images/caring.png

I read the article, and cared about your problem. I read this, and now couldn't possibly care less.

To that same note, I think there's probably quite a few developers (like myself) that were quite used to session videos from Microsoft conferences, that the lack of them when switching to Apple dev seemed like a big loss.

I can't tell if this guy is just nervous, or a terrible presenter. A little of both, I'd guess.

This is more a tale of bad estimates than specialist skills; if anything, it goes to the point that a specialist must be careful to not get too confident in his knowledge when developing an estimate.

It does look a little crappy at 32x32, but hey - it is the dev build. I expect that it'll be cleaned up before it hits general use. Also: linking to a comment way down the page? Bad form.

Help me understand, as this escapes me to this day... why is it no trouble at all to copy an article title, google it, and click on that link, and then a major PITA to register an account, sign in, check "remember me" and never deal with it

You want to kill blackboard? Build a better product. Make it easy to move blackboard data into your product. Support legacy hardware, operating systems, and/or browsers. Snark & $10 on a domain name isn't going to get the job done.
