At first I was aghast at this response to what I thought was not a dismissal but a measured evaluation of the lecture, but upon reflection, we always need to check our privilege. It's absolutely true that my high school English teacher

The lecture is fine, but a good English teacher in high school will cover the same interpretation as part of a unit about reading deeply, a skill that poetry demands. Whether or not a high school student is ready for it is another discussio

The only way we'll be seeing that trend go away is if they're banned. Those shoes improve race times so much they stretch the definition of what should be legal in racing. Nobody's going to revert to barefoot running for raci

If this is true at all, it only applies to cities. Many fantastic seafood restaurants are on or near the docks in regions economically dependent on seafood production.

I was merely correcting someone who was wrong on the internet, because Tesla does not in fact ship "a couple hundred thousand janky cars", as OP claimed. I wouldn't touch Tesla stock with a 10 foot pole.

To reduce your argument to its essence, you're saying typesetting is part of the craft of writing. I've yet to meet an author who believes this (other than enjoying editing their own work as output from a typewriter), and I think
