The actual dash buttons (including the IoT ones) don't use lipo batteries, they use a primary cell. So you can probably shave a bit off there.

I use coc-nvim and can attest that it is really good. I used to use YouCompleteMe, and while that plugin is really powerful it's also overly complicated and breaks a lot.

I primarily just use i3, but I used to be a KDE guy. I used it for a while again just recently and I have to say, it's gotten really good. They've made it clean and tidy, while still being powerful and customizable.

I have a copy of The Handbook of Mathematics, which is kind of a similar idea done commercially. It's genuinely useful, but the thing is that it's HUGE, well over 1000 pages. The main reason for this is that it is organized and fa

Me too. I put escape on my caps lock key on my Ergodox and it's awesome. I miss it whenever I use another keyboard. Escape gets a lot of use everywhere and is in kind of an awkward spot, while for me at least caps lock is literally nev

This is partially true (or at least once was, the performance gap is pretty slim nowadays), but most of the high-performance BLAS implementations like OpenBLAS or MKL have their hot path code written in hand-tuned assembler anyway.

I don't really understand in detail how insulin pumps work, so I want to ask why are there not commercial closed-loop systems available? It seems like an obvious development that pump makers should have implemented a long time ago. Is

Audiobooks in general are pretty expensive, especially when compared to the price of a print/digital book. The costs to produce one are higher, and the market is smaller (though the latter is changing, as the article shows).

You can also buy plenty of development boards with an ESP32 and a CAN transceiver. Small, fully programmable, with Wifi and BLE, for less than $50.

Usually it's not the chips actually desoldering so much as it is thermal cycling causing the solder joints to crack. Most ICs can't really survive being heated to solder melt temperature for an extended period. Either way, it'
