I know plenty of people who claim they can't stare at a monitor for more than 30 minutes or they get headaches yet we don't laugh in the face of people who do stare at monitors all day long. It sucks if it doesn't work for yo

People will get over it. Especially if Apple does it. I remember clearly in 1999 going to dinner with co-workers, all of us pulling out our cell phones for something and one of the co-workers wives call us all geeks for even having a cell p

Tried the PS4 dual shock demo. Error. this.device.open is not a function. I guess this isn't as ready as they claim. Maybe it should wait for some more testing.

More likely it means there will be a few libraries that people who are into this stuff will maintain that cover most cases and they don't have to wait for the browser teams to bless their implementations. And even better if the project

I don't agree at all. I want to be able to rate an app that made it impossible to sign up with 1 star. Or that required access to my camera even though the app has nothing to do with taking photos or images. So, no time in but the app

I don't use gitlab but github has issue and project planning. I'd expect every team member to use those. Further, github issues supports easy images and videos. Great for artists, and designers to track things. Assuming gitlab doe

Pateron? What? Pateron has the worst UX of any platform I regularly use. Sign up to be a pateron of some artist to download their works. Your only way to do this is to scroll through the list of all their posts one at a time in an endless s

$1200 a year is expensive but you mentioned artists. Autodesk Maya is $1600 a year, 3DSMax is $1600 a year, Houdini is $500 a year, Zbrush is $900 a year, Adobe creative suite is $630 a year. I'm not saying you want to add another $120

The stereotype is you live in the suburbs and know all your neighbors. Maybe even have block parties 2 or 3 times a year. Where as the stereotype for cities is you live in an apartment building closer to way more people than in the suburbs

Hooks IMO are a poor design. Calling a function that does something different with the same parameters is an anti-pattern. const [v, setV] = useState(123); First call v gets set to 123, second call it doesn't. WAT!

Doesn't that really depend on where and culture? If you bought a house in Detroit in 1965 you aren't likely doing well today. If you bought in San Francisco in 2019 you're probably under today (though that may fix itself). If

Maybe the solution is to start leaking them (anonymously of course) and then when the damages add up say "I was going to disclose this but you don't pay". A few incidents and maybe they'll start paying?
