I think that may just be a straw-man argument. It should not be difficult to figure out how it works, the logic is laid out right in front of you. There is always a learning curve when taking over a project.

It would be very very hard. It's so incredibly bloated and not modular at all. Every piece of it loads even if you don't use it. To me, it's like using Java for a Windows desktop app.

I've never understood the hate for cowboy coders. A great cowboy coder can do the work of an entire team. It's so typical for people to cry that the cowboy causes work for others, but I've never seen it myself, and I expect the great many

Are you going to pretend that there is much difference between owning it and having a license to use it however they want? Your last point is noted, hence why I do not use their site... It's the most interesting point in that most people ne

If you've made it to Inferno, doesn't that imply you've enjoyed ~40+ hours of Diablo 3? It's some very cheap entertainment once the hours count gets near the dollar cost.

I wondered if it was April Fools day... Really, JSON is lightweight enough that it doesn't need compressing. We're not dealing with XML here! This just adds another point of failure.

Interesting... does Meebo have any patents? I really would've expected that Google could re-develop any Meebo technology for cheaper than an acquisition.

Try using less things... How about just using Node and Mongo, and building the rest yourself? Node being in its infancy is a pretty good reason in itself to not tie yourself to the frameworks which are likewise infantile. I've got several p

Well said... I miss my old 21" CRT that had higher resolution than my current LCDs. (1920x1200 vs 1920x1080). Damn HD TV's for ruining the resolution craze.
