Just this week at the Twilio Signal conference they announced a partnership and that 10 devs from the Twilio community will be of the first group to build on their SDK... When asked if next year it would be more widely available, he said he

Action Jack is focusing on sales, per the conjoined triangles of success. This is pretty telling.

Very very well done! I have no use for this right now but I'm buying it anyway because you deserve the support. Congrats on launching!

The Parse Server repo has crossed 7,500 stars and now has 53 contributors. This is a huge addition to the ecosystem, a completely open-source client and server application platform, combining the best features from all of the competition..

It's not about safety, it's about EU privacy laws and Safe Harbor. It is desirable to store the data in-country to avoid the hassle of requiring/finding a provider with an EU approved Data Protection Agreement.

There are many apps using Parse only for Push, so it's good for both... But, you've already got that solved (in a similar fashion, this is using node modules.)

Check the pull requests, as Push delivery is in-review and landing very soon. At least one developer has already pulled the diff and got it working.

Migration is based on data size, but setting up the API server on a new VPS is quick... I'd say less than one hour from a fresh image on Digital Ocean. I'll try to publish a guide for that part.

I've accidentally liked things before, and there is still an undo.. you just tap it again or change your reaction. Do it fast enough and you'll avoid any embarrassing broadcasts.

A lot of big companies are using it, and a lot of popular apps. Top-grossing games, Apple-featured photography apps, Social networks, Utilities... In the range of 100k active apps. It's good for much more than just rapid prototyping.
