My recommendation is that you ask for equity, even if a small amount. Justify it based on the risk of the labor market and your work done.

Thanks for this idea. Seems reasonable. I think this should be combined with banning people who cheat by trying to explain code without properly reviewing it and burning cycles from humans at the other side. At least that would be my policy

It is reasonable to stop some people from flooding projects wirh low quality PRs that take time on the other side, that might not work at all or be patches that are several times the size of what is needed and get a lot in the way of the ma

I think historic records of production have a lot of wisdom. For whoever it is interested.

I see, so you are suggesting making black markets appear. Good, I see you studied economic history a lot... There is no way around this, believe me. Not sure why you call pigs to people producing actually. That is how things end up working.

European here. I left Europe 14 years ago. I tried to come back. My decision was to run away bc it is impossible to build a reasonable life in a stable way where you do not get smashed mercilessly... It is just too much.

Yes, remove the human incentive to produce, which is that the rest can consume in a way that is profitable enough for the producer and you will see the wxcess disappear in front of your eyes for killing the incentive to produce. Infinitely

What you are saying here, and I am not a protestant, is that some people will work for you while you do what you feel like. That mindset, taken to the extreme, hides a kind of sibylline slavery, Idk if you get why. It also makes for far les

Well, I am not sure what you mean exactly. But it enables incremental addition of errors and you can decide later what to do exactly, so I still tend to see it as an advantage. It is like defer the error handling and centralize later. If yo

Or you can assume exceptions can be thrown and capture and log coming from a base class in a centralized place (and probably refine incrementally what to do with each group without dirtying all the logic inside the functions themselves). Fo

I think there is nothing better than exceptions + RAII for error handling since exceptions cannot be ignored by accident. I would classify D's scope exit/failure/success as RAII actually, even if D uses a GC. Sometimes you mi

Please I am all ears. I have right now a landing page and a NiceGUI dashboard with websockets (but only need SSE, though I need charts). I am all the time looking at htmx and used to "desktop-like" workflows for UI authoring. So I

I think it is a very good point: "because the "accidentals" become tied up with things like nepotism, unfair and arbitrary" I never thought of this from this perspective but indeed it seems to be totally true.

For me this is how all workflows with AI end up lookingif you really want robust products. Do whatever with AI, go fast (from the point of view of perception, initially) BUT it is not going to work without extra work. and ho, the bloat, do
