Some state of what devices are available lives on the HomeKit supporting bridge (in this case on the device you're running HomeBridge on), but the controlling devices also maintain state as to which devices in the target home you'

I've been using Homebridge and Domoticz on an RPi as a home automation solution (using ZWave for the devices) and it works wonderfully. Being able to yell out "Hey Siri, turn on the lights" when I walk into my house is great.

The big example how the relationship is an employment one (IMO) is the integration test from US v. Silk (1947) -- and yes, it's from 1947 so take what you will from that but it is still one of the factors. Uber simply doesn't exis

I don't really understand how a state law declaring something as so can have any relevant effect on federal determinations of employee/contractor status, which is far more dangerous to the TNCs business model. This mostly seems li

You don't need to double-tap. Just touch (don't press) your thumb to the Touch ID sensor and put the back of the phone on the reader. The phone will wake up and automatically pay with your default card, as long as your registered

They don't offer this plan in the US, which is the only place this GPM subscription is available, so it isn't relevant to the discussion, and the tone is unnecessarily hostile to boot.

The deduction you can make on your federal taxes for state taxes paid vanishes once you're in AMT land which you almost certainly are if you're in the 39.6% tax bracket.

But that's not the point. The only claim made under penalty of perjury is that the party filing the report is authorized to act on behalf of the rightsholder they identified in the report. The rest (what the material is, who the righ

You need a 'duty of trust' to a company to be an insider for IT purposes. There is 0 way a CR writer would have that.

Yeah, I guess I think it makes more sense for the browser manufacturers to be the people to whom I delegate that responsibility. I already trust them not to run malware on my computer and to accurately display the SSL state of a connection.

I really dislike the fact that a CA is able to bless a new CA completely independently. Does this cause anyone else the slightest amount of anxiety, or am I just being paranoid?

No, the markups are still opaque and vary on an item-by-item basis. Here's an example (from $5.99 to $7.39 plus a delivery fee. Still a really poor deal:) http://i.imgur.com/VwWk44h.png (To be clear, this picture is
