A Model S, and most other 500HP+ all wheel drive cars with launch control don't burn rubber. The launch control and ESP are programmed to limit wheel spin as much as possible as loss of traction is not useful for maximum acceleration.

It depends on the motor and what is determined as "lag". The 4.0 motor in the 991 GT3 and GT3 RS does not have lag, the throttle response is immediate.

I don't think it's just an issue of no trucks on the fast lane. If you drive on 3 or 4 lane roads, such as the M25, there is a visible disturbance to traffic flow even when a truck enters lane 2 on a 4 lane road. This has the effe

I really want to agree with you that Atom is awesome, and it is, in principle, but in reality a text editor should not be using 300MB of RAM. Sublime Text, which I consider to be a direct competitor, barely uses 20MB of memory on my machine

In the UK it's not uncommon to see chevrons painted along each lane where in you're meant to keep a minimum of two chevrons from the car in front ( http://www.roberthempsall.co.uk/blogimages/keep-apart-2-chev..

I don't even know what I'd do with that sort of hardware. Heck, I can barely use 2GB of RAM on a good day, of which the sole significant offenders are Gnome 3 and Firefox (approx. 300MB each).

I just got a Motorola Moto G to replace an aging iPhone 5s. I do like Android, but there are so many features of it that I find just completely irksome. For example, Google release Android 6.0 but I can't upgrade until Motorola decide

Maybe it's just me, but aren't the presets on Chrome extraordinarily over-optimistic? For example, I cannot comprehend how you could get anywhere close to 250KB/s on 2G (which is approx. 2Mbit/s). Furthermore, most WiFi

Can you elaborate on this further? Would this mean that Bentley's proof was in fact incorrect (i.e. not a valid proof at all) or that it simply didn't consider integer overflow for fixed size ints? I wonder to what extent the impl
